The Company intends to facilitate the growth and success of its portfolio companies through capital infusions and the operational and market oriented advice the Company's management can provide. By making controlled investments in a diverse range of aviation businesses the Company aims to generate significant returns for its investors.
Generally, 154 West invests in businesses where it has the opportunity to provide: early-stage as well as expansion capital, assistance with acquisitions, access to component leasing programs, consulting services and bridge financing. It targets companies with growth oriented opportunities through organic development, innovative technologies and/or new market opportunities. 154 West is also involved in capital raising activities for larger projects but does not provide or invest in direct aircraft financing.
Because management believed investors would benefit more from a portfolio diversified into industry specific groups, Global Aviation Capital LLC, a subsidiary of 154 West Aviation Enterprises Inc, was created. Global Aviation LLC is a limited liability company specializing in sourcing and providing investment funding for aviation businesses that they have "grouped" together dependant on what area of the industry they service, therefore potential investors have the opportunity to invest a diversified number of businesses but remain within the sector of the aviation market of their choosing.
Members of the management team have successfully founded and led aviation and other businesses and executed investments in a number of aviation companies. The Company also expects to benefit from the assembly of an advisory board consisting of investment and aviation-industry experts.
